1922 Craftsman in Glassell Park, $399k

Glassell Park, like Mt. Washington, is very hilly. It was named for attorney Andrew Glassell in the 1800s when he won the land in a lawsuit. Development began in early 1900s and again in the 1950s when many modernist homes were built. As a result, like Mt. Washington, Glassell Park has a varied collection of homes spanning from classic to very modern.

Restored Craftsman in Cypress Park, $419k

Cypress Park, directly south of Glassell Park, is one of the oldest communities in Los Angeles and predates Highland Park by nearly 3 years. This neighborhood is also very popular for its nest of character homes and proximity to DTLA.
